Where can I learn about drumming?

Scottish side (snare) drumming is unique in that, although the basic fundamentals of rudimentary drumming apply, the rudiments are slightly different from ARD and the style of the music is very different .

The drum contains snares on both the upper and lower heads and the upper head is under tremendous tension in order to achieve a crisp sound at the proper pitch.

We also use tenor drums, bass drums and, when possible, flourishing tenor drummers.
